The Ideation Clinic™ is a coalition of universities, hospitals, research institutes and industry partners devoted to addressing the early stage barriers to health innovation. Using the Innovation Key™, we train, support and mentor Highly Qualified Personnel to transform today’s ideas into tomorrow’s healthcare innovations.
Dr. Joseph Ferenbok has an eclectic background that includes aspects of entrepreneurship, intrapreneurship, design, english literature, philosophy, engineering, computer science, humanities, biology, art history, surgery, and psychiatry.
Ateeya Manzoor began working in the incubator space in 2008, before incubators exist as we know them today. She strongly believes that all ideas have value and has worked throughout her career to champion health innovation in Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom.

From our HI Huddles, annual Praxis Challenge and Health Innovation Summit, we offer a range of opportunities to ideate, learn and make meaningful connections.
To demonstrate a transformative commercializable health innovation concept that may improve the quality of life for people with SCI or other related or chronic medical conditions.
The Challenge will offer a cohort of aspiring ideators a range of ideation support, including a series of eleven workshops, funding for prototyping, mentorship for design and development, and internships supporting students and young entrepreneurs.And that’s not all!

The Ideation Clinic is now accepting applications for our Fall 2021 Ideators-In-Training Program.This one-year program provides learners with a unique opportunity to work on projects in the translational space, be mentored by the Ideation Clinic Executive Team, work closely with our partners, and and get an intimate look at the Canadian knowledge translation community.
